NO.1 Release of raw coal production data of provinces and regions above designated size from January to August 2024

From January to August in 2024, the raw coal production of enterprises above designated size in China reached 3052.182 million tons, which decreased slightly by 0.3% compared with 306.664 million tons in the same period last year. Production in August was 396.545 million tons, up 2.8% from 385.787 million tons in August last year. By region, Inner Mongolia topped the list with 840.789 million tons of production, up 4.2 percent year on year, and 102.727 million tons in August, up 2.2 percent year on year. The output in Xinjiang increased significantly, reaching 323.927 million tons, up 15.2 percent year on year. The output in August was 43.141 million tons, up 19.9 percent year on year. Guizhou province produced 91.644 million tons, up 6.0 percent year on year, and 12.387 million tons in August, up 9.2 percent. Anhui Province produced 69.724 million tons, down 8.0 percent year on year, and in August produced 8.86 million tons, down 11.0 percent. The output of Ningxia and Henan provinces increased year on year to 69.366 million tons and 68.942 million tons, respectively, and the output in August was 8.303 million tons and 8.79 million tons, up slightly. Under the leadership of the Party Committee and the government, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region successfully sold the coal exploration rights of Hadatu coalfield in the central Junger mining area through open auction, and Rongsheng Energy Technology (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. won the bid with a price of 13.862 billion yuan. The exploration right is located in Junge Banner, Ordos City, covering an area of 59.4392 square kilometers, the exploration degree is detailed inspection, the planned construction scale is 8 million tons per year, and the service life is 72 years. The initiative aims to provide high-quality and sufficient raw material coal guarantee for the green integrated coal chemical project in Junge Banner, and is also the practical result of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to further promote a new round of prospecting breakthrough strategic action and promote resource storage and production. Among them, the mineral rights area of the eastern peripheral lithium mine of methyl card is 18.699 square kilometers, and the starting price is 570,000 yuan; Daofu County Rongxu Kanan lithium mine mining rights area of 16.9709 square kilometers, the starting price of 1.02 million yuan, the first transfer period of the two mines are 5 years, the transfer yield is 1.4%. The transfer announcement time is from September 19 to October 22, and the bidding will start at 10:00 on November 6 this year. Compared with last year's auction of Lijiagou North lithium mine in Jinchuan County, Sichuan, and Jiada lithium mine in Malkang City, the new "offline sealed quotation" link is added.
