In the first half of the year, the company realized revenue of 10.575 billion yuan, an increase of 14.36% year-on-year; net profit of 1.541 billion yuan, an increase of 16.70% year-on-year; and deducted net profit of 1.546 billion yuan, an increase of 16.77% year-on-year.

Shaanxi Energy's main business is thermal power generation, coal production and sales. As of the end of June 2024, the company's total approved installed coal power capacity reached 17.25 million kilowatts; the company's total approved coal production capacity is 30 million tons/year, of which, 24 million tons/year of capacity has been put into operation and 6 million tons/year of capacity is under construction. In addition, the company is striving for the approval of Zhanba coal mine (planning capacity of 4 million tons/year), Gansu Huanxian Qian Yangshan project (planning capacity of 6 million tons/year).

Semi-annual report shows that in the first half of 2024, Shaanxi energy relying on coal resources, optimize coal and power synergy, strengthen the production organization, and continue to highlight the core competitiveness of the integration of coal and power; play the control advantages, tamping safety and environmental protection foundation, control operating costs, and protect the orderly operation; play the capital advantage of grasping the project construction, expanding the business field, and continue to grow the main responsibility of the main business.

Since 2024, the scale of the company's coal power industry continues to grow. In the first half of the year, the company's Qingshuichuan Energy Power Plant Phase III (2×1000MW) No. 5 unit was put into operation, and the east wing of Yuanzigou mine (2 million tons/year) was put into operation; Shaan Tou Yan'an Thermal Power Phase II (2×350MW) project, Shaan Tou Shangluo Power Plant Phase II (2×660MW) project, and Zhao Shibian mine construction were promoted according to the plan; and the acquisition of 51% of the equity of Xinfeng Energy was completed, and the second phase of Xinfeng Power Plant (2×1000MW) project is planned to be launched in 2024, which is the first phase of Xinfeng Power Plant Phase II. 1000MW) project is scheduled to commence construction in the second half of 2024; bidding for the mining right of Qianyangshan coal mine in Huanxian County, Gansu Province (planned capacity of 6 million tons/year, resource reserves of 1,020 million tons), realizing a new breakthrough in the layout of inter-provincial coal resources.

Data show that in the first half of 2024, Shaanxi Energy completed power generation capacity of 24.099 billion kWh, an increase of 12.58% year-on-year; completed feed-in power of 22.485 billion kWh; completed raw coal production of 11.6538 million tons, an increase of 3.35% year-on-year.
