According to the statistics of Statistics and Information Department of China Coal Industry Association, the total raw coal production of the top 10 enterprises ranked in January-July 2024 was 1.34 billion tons, a year-on-year decrease of 40.2 million tons, accounting for 50.4% of the raw coal production of enterprises above designated size.

Specifically: National Energy Group 360.14 million tons, down 0.4%; Jinneng Holding Group 221.4 million tons, down 11.4%; Shandong Energy Group 156.41 million tons, up 7.7% year-on-year; China National Coal Group 156.33 million tons, up 0.5% year-on-year; Shaanxi Coal Group 147.63 million tons, up 0.8% year-on-year; Shanxi Coking Coal Group 96.62 million tons, down 10.4%; Huaneng Coal Co. down 10.4%; Huaneng Group 64.69 million tons, up 2.7% year-on-year; Lu'an Chemical Group 51.91 million tons, down 15.1% year-on-year; Guodian Investment Group 45.05 million tons, down 3.3% year-on-year; Huaihe Energy Group 41.06 million tons, down 7.5% year-on-year.
